About Us
Medipass Health publishes plain-language health guides for readers in India. The aim is narrow and deliberate: explain what a condition is, what the evidence actually supports, and when someone should stop reading and see a doctor.
Why this site exists
Health information online tends to fail in one of two directions. It is either written for clinicians and impenetrable to everyone else, or it is written for clicks and quietly wrong. Someone looking up whether a fatty liver report is serious, or what to do in the first hour of chest pain, deserves something in between: accurate, specific and readable.
We try to write the article a careful doctor would want their patient to have read before the consultation.
What we cover
- Common conditions: migraine, reflux, back pain, fevers, thyroid, kidney and liver problems
- Heart health, including the warning signs of heart attack and stroke
- Diabetes, prediabetes and metabolic health
- Mental health, including burnout, stress and sleep
- Nutrition: protein, deficiencies, weight and what the evidence supports
- Women’s health, including periods and menopause
- Medicines: what they do, what they cost you, and how to use them safely
- Preventive care, screening and adult vaccination
How we write
Every article is built around the same questions: what is actually happening in the body, what the tests mean, what treatments have evidence behind them, what is commonly believed but not supported, and when to seek care. Where the evidence is genuinely uncertain, we say so rather than picking a side for the sake of a clean answer.
We name the things that do not work as readily as the things that do. A guide that only lists remedies is not much use to someone deciding whether to spend money on one.
Our full approach is set out in our Editorial Policy.
What this site is not
Medipass Health does not diagnose, prescribe or replace a consultation. It does not sell treatments, supplements or courses, and it does not accept payment to recommend a product or a clinic. Please read our Medical Disclaimer before acting on anything you find here.
